Gorillaz to make live return at Demon Dayz festival

ParlophoneGorillaz has announced their first live show in over five years.

Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's cartoon band will headline the inaugural edition at their own Demon Dayz festival, which will be held June 10 in Margate, England.  Demon Days was the name of the second Gorillaz album, which came out in 2005.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 10 at DemonDayzFestival.co.uk. If you can't make it across the pond for the festival, it will be streamed live online via Red Bull TV.

Gorillaz released a new track called "Hallelujah Money" in January, on the eve of Inauguration Day. The band's long-awaited fifth studio album is due out later this year.
