Grunge Rockers L7 Announce Reunion

Jadranka Krsteska/RedfernsSeminal grunge band L7 has announced their reunion. The band's original lineup will play shows at the Azkena Rock Festival in Spain and the Hellfest Open Air Festival in France, with more tour dates to come.

"Your support, prayers, pleads, demands, and harassment here on this page have worked!" writes the band on Facebook. "The Original Line-up of L7 ARE REUNITING! (and it feels so good). WOO HOO!"

L7's last album was 1999's Slap-Happy. The band stopped touring and announced an indefinite hiatus in 2001.

In addition to the reunion announcement, L7 has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for a documentary, L7: Pretend We're Dead. Perks for donors include singed tee shirts, DVDs and vinyl, as well as more personal items like handwritten lyrics or a phone message recorded by the band.
