Hayley Williams Wants More “Heavy” Christmas Songs

Image Courtesy of Fueled by RamenParamore hasn't written any Christmas songs, but frontwoman Hayley Williams thinks more rock bands should get into the holiday spirit.

"There aren't enough heavy Christmas songs, they're all pop or country songs," Williams tells NME. "I want something that I can bulldoze around to."

As for any specific band she'd like to see deck the halls with rock, Williams offered up hardcore band Turnstile.

"They have this heavy '90s influence," she says. "I feel like it would have had a lot of attitude."

Paramore's holiday present to fans was the deluxe digital version of their 2013 self-titled album. Paramore: Self-Titled Deluxe, released in November, features a bevy of bonus tracks, including a new version of "Hate to See Your Heart Break" with duet vocals from former Civil Wars singer Joy Williams.
