Eliot Lee HazelImagine Dragons' "Shots" is a big, energetic song, but the band decided to strip it down for an acoustic performance. The acoustic version of the Smoke + Mirrors single, which you can listen to now on YouTube, features frontman Dan Reynolds' voice accompanied by just a piano and additional harmonies from drummer Daniel Platzman.
The acoustic rendition of "Shots," which was recorded live at The Smith Center in the band's hometown of Las Vegas, will appear on a new EP featuring two other remixes of the single. The remix EP is available now on iTunes.
Smoke + Mirrors, Imagine Dragons' sophomore album, gave the band their first number one record on the Billboard 200.
This summer, Imagine Dragons will be touring North America in support of Smoke + Mirrors beginning June 3 in Portland, Oregon. Metric will open on the tour.
