In support of the campaign, the band has released a new, entirely acoustic single called "I Was Me," which you can download now on iTunes. All proceeds from "I Was Me" will be donated to the UN Refugee Agency.

"'I Was Me' is a song about trying to regain your life, which is exactly what millions of people are going through right now," says frontman Dan Reynolds in a statement. "Whether it is by downloading this track or by other means, we hope people everywhere recognize the severity of the situation and find a way to assist these families in desperate need."

Imagine Dragons will perform "I Was Me" live for the first time tonight during their show at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany.

In other Imagine Dragons news, the band will be releasing a deluxe edition of their latest album, Smoke + Mirrors, featuring eight new songs, on October 30.
