Image Courtesy of Eliot Lee HazelImagine Dragons have premiered the video for their new track, "Gold," which will appear on the band's forthcoming sophomore album, Smoke + Mirrors. As the darker counterpart to the album's more celebratory lead single, "I Bet My Life," the "Gold" video is suitably moody, featuring the band rocking out a live performance of the track in Las Vegas.
The "Gold" video was directed by Isaac Halasima, who also helmed Imagine Dragons' MTV VMA-nominated "Demons" video.
Smoke + Mirrors will be released February 17. If you pre-order the album from iTunes, you'll receive automatic downloads of both "Gold" and "I Bet My Life." There's no word yet of a full tour in support of the new record, but Imagine Dragons will headline the pre-Super Bowl DirecTV Super Fan Festival on January 30, as well as the BottleRock Festival in Napa, California, held May 29-31.
