In an Instagram post, the Queens of the Stone Age frontman teased the return of his long-running musical collective series. "I wonder if anyone's been recording in the desert?" he writes in the caption.

Homme launched The Desert Sessions, which has included contributions from artists including PJ Harvey, Mark Lanegan and Soundgarden's Ben Shepherd, in 1997. The most recent release is 2003's Volume 10: I Heart Disco.

The post also includes the hashtags #11 and #12, suggesting that an eleventh and twelfth volume is on the way.

Queens of the Stone Age's latest album is 2017's Villains.
