Jack Antonoff is sharing the touring exploits of his band Bleachers in Thank You and Sorry, an original documentary-style series. Shot in black-and-white, the six-part series combines real footage from Bleachers' tours with scripted recreations.
"Making records and being on tour constantly feels like a strange blend between real life and a production of your life the way you imagined it," Antonoff says in a statement. "With that in mind, we did that literally with Thank You and Sorry. When we shot, we would script elements of real situations and the entire process started to become blurry as to what did and didn't actually happen. Strange times."
Thank You and Sorry will debut on Google Play on June 16. The series will feature appearances by comedian Colin Quinn and actresses Olivia Wilde and Rosie Perez.
This summer, Antonoff and Bleachers will team up with pop star Charli XCX on their joint Charli and Jack Do America tour, which kicks off July 21 in San Diego.
