Jimmy Eat World has canceled the band's summer North American tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The outing, which also featured The Front Bottoms on the bill, was set to launch in August and stretch into September.
"It comes as no surprise, but a bummer nonetheless, that we are pulling the plug on our tour with @TheFrontBottoms that was set to kick off in August," Jimmy Eat World says.
"We'll be back on the road as soon as it's safe to do so," the "Middle" rockers add. "In the meantime, stay well and keep your eyes and ears peeled for some fun stuff we're working on."
Those who already purchased tickets will be contacted regarding refund options.
Jimmy Eat World released their latest album, Surviving, last October.
