ABC/Randy HolmesJudah & the Lion refuse to stay down on "7000x," a new song from the band's forthcoming album, Pep Talks.
On the track, frontman Judah Akers declares, "Get knocked down over 7,000 times/Here's your choice stay low or get up and fight." The tune is available now for digital download.
"I feel like there's a tendency in our generation to linger in negativity, but that's not our story as a band or as people," Akers says in a statement. "There are moments in all our lives where you need to stay down, but there's always that time where you need to get up and move forward."
Pep Talks, also featuring the single "Over My Head," is due out May 3.
Ahead of the album's arrival, Judah & the Lion will host a series of listening events and storytelling sessions, beginning April 16 in Charlottesville, Virginia. They'll launch a proper U.S. tour in August.
