First Kiss also debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, giving Rock his highest position on the chart since 2007's Rock n Roll Jesus bowed at number one.
The album's title track also saw some chart action, moving up to the number six spot on Hot Rock Songs.
In other chart news, fun. frontman Nate Ruess made a big splash with his first solo single, "Nothing Without Love," which debuted at number 11 on the Hot Rock Songs tally. Alabama Shakes also stomped into Hot Rock Songs with ""Don't Want to Fight" at number 21. The band performed the single, which will appear on their forthcoming sophomore album, Sound & Color, on last weekend's Saturday Night Live.
Finally, the debut full-length from MisterWives, entitled Our Own House, debuted at number seven on the Alternative Albums chart.
