Lenny Kravitz's video for "The Pleasure and the Pain" includes plenty of both. The black-and-white clip, directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, shows the highs and lows of Kravitz's relationship with a woman, from motorcycle rides and skinny-dipping -- that part is NSFW -- to the heartbreaking time apart. You can watch the "The Pleasure and the Pain" video now at RollingStone.com.
"Working with Dikayl is a very organic and spontaneous experience," Kravitz tells Rolling Stone. "The plan was to shoot for two days and we ended up shooting for nearly two weeks in various locations. It was all about capturing the emotion of the song and feeling the relationship build. As far as we were concerned, the video shoot was finished when we felt that."
"The Pleasure and the Pain" appears on Kravitz's latest album, 2014's Strut. He's currently on tour in Europe in support of Strut, but he'll return to the U.S. August 28 to headline the Afropunk Fest in Brooklyn, New York.
