On the song, K.Flay directs jabs at people who give her "Bad Vibes." "You're the sequel that sucks," she spits at one target of her ire.

"With everything going on in the world right now, I wanted to make some positive music," she says of "Bad Vibes." "The goal isn't to be happy every minute; it's just to move away from negative energy."

"Bad Vibes" follows K.Flay's 2017 album Every Where Is Some Where, which featured her breakthrough track "Blood in the Cut," as well as the singles "High Enough" and "Giver."

You can also hear K.Flay as the featured artist on a number of songs lately, including Tom Morello's "Lucky One," Mike Shinoda's "Make It Up as I Go" and Robert DeLong's "Favorite Color Is Blue."
