ABC/Randy HolmesShinedown has shared the "piano version" of "GET UP," a single from the band's latest album, ATTENTION ATTENTION.
As the title suggests, the new take on the track strips it down to a simple piano riff, and focuses on frontman Brent Smith's voice as he sings the emotional tune, which he wrote about bassist Eric Bass' battle with depression. You can download the "piano version" now via digital outlets.
The original "GET UP" peaked at number one on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart, and reached the top 25 on the Alternative Songs tally.
Following a few festivals this weekend, Shinedown will launch their intimate "An Evening with" tour on Monday, May 6 in New Orleans. They'll then kick off a full-scale U.S. tour in June.
