ABC/Randy HolmesOn Wednesday, Weezer announced that a new song called "High as a Kite" would be released today. Not only did they keep that promise, but they've also debuted another new track: "Living in L.A."
Both songs will appear on Weezer's upcoming Black Album, and are available now for digital download. "High as a Kite" is also accompanied by a video, which stars frontman Rivers Cuomo as the host of a demented version of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. You can watch that now on YouTube.
The Black Album is due out March 1. It follows Weezer's Teal Album covers collection, which was surprise-released in January. The band's most recent album of original songs is 2017's Pacific Daydream.
Weezer will launch a U.S. tour in support of the Black Album alongside Pixies March 8 in Louisville, Kentucky.
