In a statement posted Monday night, festival organizers say that the event site, Champions Park, as been plagued by "unsafe conditions resulting from ongoing rain and flooding."
"After carefully inspecting the grounds and infrastructure this evening, the City and we have determined that it is no longer possible to make the festival site safe in time for this weekend," the statement reads.
Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains and Godsmack were scheduled to headline this year's Louder than Life, which was to be held over three days for the first time. The lineup also featured Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Bush and Slash, among others.
