Machine Gun Kelly finally figured out *that* Blink-182 pun as “I Think I’m OKAY” goes platinum

Credit: Jordan WozyMachine Gun Kelly has had a pretty big couple days. Not only did his single "I Think I'm OKAY" -- featuring Travis Barker and Yungblud -- get certified Platinum by the RIAA, but he finally figured out the pun in the title for Blink-182's 2001 album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.

As Barker revealed in a tweet Sunday, Kelly apparently never realized that Take Off Your Pants and Jacket referred to something else besides just removing clothing.

"19 yrs later and @machinegunkelly just figured out what TAKE OFF YOUR PANTS AND JACKET meant," the drummer wrote, alongside a crying laughing emoji.

Kelly then responded, "Do I have to leave the venue when you guys play those songs now."

The official Blink-182 Twitter also got in on the fun, tweeting a trio of crying laughing emojis.

Back to "I Think I'm OKAY," the single officially earned its platinum certification, which signifies one million certified units, on July 7. The track first dropped June 2019.

In addition to learning puns and racking up platinum singles together, Kelly and Barker are also collaborating on the former's upcoming pop punk-influenced album Tickets to My Downfall, featuring the single "Bloody Valentine."
