After playing a white supremacist on the FX drama Sons of Anarchy, Manson will portray a hitman in the indie crime drama Let Me Make You a Martyr. On the film's Instagram account, you can see a photo of Manson in character, and -- shocker -- there's a lot of blood involved.
According to Tulsa World, Martyr tells the story of "a pair of adopted siblings who fall in love and devise a plan to kill their abusive father figure." Presumably, Manson's hitman, named Pope, figures into that plan. Martyr is currently being filmed in Oklahoma.
Manson made his film debut in David Lynch's 1997 movie Lost Highway, in which he played a porn star. He has also had roles on shows like Eastbound & Down and Californication.
This summer, Manson is teaming up with The Smashing Pumpkins for a co-headlining trek, ominously dubbed The End Times tour.
