This Thursday, November 9, Metallica will headline Band Together Bay Area, a benefit concert in support of those affected by the recent Northern California wildfires, the deadliest in recorded state history. The show will be held in San Francisco's AT&T Park, and will also stream live online.
You'll be able to watch the show beginning at 5:45 p.m. PT on Thursday via Metallica's YouTube and Facebook page, as well as Metallica.com.
Other artists playing Band Together Bay Area include Dead & Company, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Rancid, G-Eazy and Raphael Saadiq. All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund, which supports low-income and vulnerable communities impacted by the fires.
In other Metallica news, the band has released a video of them performing "Master of Puppets" at Denmark's Roskilde Festival in 1986. The footage will be included in the upcoming Master of Puppets deluxe box set reissue, which arrives November 10.
