Credit: Norman WongMetric has released "Fortunes," a new track from the band's forthcoming album Pagans in Vegas. Like the three songs released before it -- "The Shade," "Cascades" and "Too Bad, So Sad" -- "Fortunes" digs deep into Metric's electronic influences. You can listen to "Fortunes" now at EW.com.
"The song is pretty emotionally intense," frontwoman Emily Haines tells Entertainment Weekly of "Fortunes." "I don't know that I could have put more of my heart into that vocal."
In other Metric news, the band has been added to the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience lineup. The New Orleans festival, taking place October 30 to November 1, will also feature performances by Florence + the Machine, Modest Mouse, Gerard Way, Jane's Addiction, Slightly Stoopid and Ozzy Osbourne with Slash, Geezer Butler and Tom Morello.
Pagans in Vegas will be released on September 18.
