Modest Mouse fans had to wait eight years for Strangers to Ourselves, the band's first album since 2007's We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Luckily, we won't have to wait nearly as long for the next Modest Mouse album.
"I'm pretty far along with the next one as it is," frontman Isaac Brock tells HMV. "I went in to making ["Strangers to Ourselves"] with two records in mind."
As for when the next album will be released, Brock isn't waiting very long. "It'll be released as quickly as it's legally allowed to be," he says. "It's a partner to [Strangers to Ourselves]."
Strangers to Ourselves, featuring the number-one alternative single "Lampshades on Fire," will be released March 17.
