Morrissey announces US tour with Interpol

The fall trek begins September 5 in Columbia, Maryland, and will wrap up October 6 in San Diego. Tickets go on sale starting this Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. local time via MorrisseyOfficial.com.

The ex-Smiths frontman will be touring behind his upcoming covers album California Son, which features guest spots from Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and Young the Giant's Sameer Gadhia, among others. Morrissey's also launching a Broadway residency in New York City on May 2. California Son is out May 24.

Interpol, meanwhile, will release a new EP called A Fine Mess on May 17. They're most recent full-length effort is 2018's Marauder.
