The complete official list of releases for Record Store Day 2015 has been unveiled and, as always, it includes a heaping pile of vinyl records from today's rock artists, including Mumford & Sons, Florence + The Machine and The Black Keys.
Mumford & Sons will release their new, electric-driven single, "Believe," as a seven-inch record. Florence + the Machine also have a new song, "What Kind of Man," which will be released on a 12-inch blue vinyl single.
The Black Keys' RSD contribution will be a cover of blues musician Junior Kimbrough's "All Night Long" in celebration of the track's 20th anniversary.
Other releases include a split seven-inch single featuring Pink Floyd vocalist Syd Barrett and R.E.M. both performing different versions of Barrett's "Dark Globe," plus a deluxe, two-disc vinyl collection from U2 entitled Age of Innocence.
The 1975, 311, Atreyu, Banks, Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, George Ezra, Garbage, Grouplove, In This Moment, Joan Jett, Johnny Marr, Phish, The Replacements, Rise Against, The Stooges, Twenty One Pilots, Vampire Weekend, Young the Giant and many more also will release exclusive discs for RSD 2015.
Records from these artists join previously announced RSD releases from Foo Fighters, Robert Plant, Stone Sour, The White Stripes, Mastodon, Big Data, The Used, The Flaming Lips, Violent Femmes, Interpol and Metallica. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl will serve as the official 2015 Record Store Day ambassador.
