The Reading & Leeds Festivals have revealed Mumford & Sons as the 2015 events' second headliner. The British folk rockers will join the previously announced Metallica at the top of the U.K. festivals' lineup.
"I’m delighted to have secured Mumford & Sons for Main Stage headliners this summer and can’t wait to see them return to the Festivals for their first U.K. performance in over two years," says festival boss Melvin Benn in a statement.
Along with Mumford & Sons, Royal Blood, Bastille and Catfish & the Bottlemen have been added to the lineup, which already included Pierced the Veil, Refused and Manchester Orchestra. The complete lineup, which will include a third headliner, will be revealed soon.
Reading & Leeds 2014 was headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182, Paramore and Queens of the Stone Age.
Reading & Leeds consists of two festivals occurring simultaneously in England -- on at Reading's Richfield Avenue and the other at Leeds' Braham Park. The 2015 Reading & Leeds festivals will take place August 28-30. Tickets to both festivals are on sale now.
