Image Courtesy of Big Hassle Mumord & Sons will bring their new, electric, banjo-less sound to Studio 8H next month when they perform on Saturday Night Live. The band will be the musical guest on the April 11 episode, which will be hosted by Empire star Taraji P. Henson.
This appearance will mark the second time Mumford & Sons have been the musical guest on SNL; they previously performed on the show in 2012. During that episode, the band also appeared in a sketch in which they played a Beatles cover band called Hey Dude.
Mumford & Sons also recruited SNL alums Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte, as well as actors Jason Bateman and Ed Helms, to star in the video for their Babel track "Hopeless Wanderer."
The Mumford & Sons episode of Saturday Night Live will air April 11 at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
