Muse has always been known for their grandiose, arena-ready sound, but the band may strip it back a bit for their next album.
Responding to a Twitter question on the direction of future Muse music, frontman Matt Bellamy replied, "[I] may have to dust off the old acoustic guitar, been a while."
Before you get to worked up -- in either direction -- about the prospect of an unplugged Muse, Bellamy previously told Q magazine that the band wasn't planning to record a new album until 2018, so they have plenty of time to figure out their sound going forward.
Muse's latest album is 2015's Drones.
