The clip imagines follows a girl in a dystopian future akin to the worlds of many young adult book series such as Divergent or The Hunger Games. Clones are involved. "Mercy" is the second single from Drones, following lead single "Dead Inside." "Dead Inside" has now led Billboard's Rock Airplay and Alternative Songs charts for five straight weeks.
