If the estimation holds true, Drones will become Muse's first number-one album on the Billboard 200. They've come close in the past, notching number-two and number-three debuts with their last two albums, 2012's The 2nd Law and 2009's The Resistance, respectively.

The lead single from Drones, "Dead Inside," has led Billboard's Rock Airplay and Alternative Songs charts for five consecutive weeks.

In other charting news, Of Monsters and Men's sophomore album, Beneath the Skin, is also headed for a strong debut on the Billboard 200 with an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 units sold its first week.
