Credit: Danny ClinchMy Morning Jacket is letting you hear The Waterfall a day early. The band will be hosting a vinyl listening party for their new album live streamed on YouTube from Electric Lady Studios in New York City on May 3.
Before they play the record, MMJ will participate in a live chat on their Facebook page. The chat will begin at 9:30 p.m. ET, and the listening party will begin at 10 p.m. Following The Waterfall playback, MMJ will return to Facebook for another round of Q&A.
In other MMJ news, frontman Jim James released a cover of Blind Melon's "Sleepyhouse" in support of a Kickstarter campaign to make a documentary about the "No Rain" group's late frontman, Shannon Hood.
The Waterfall will be officially released on May 4.
