Nate Ruess’ “Grand Romantic” Debuts in Top-10 on “Billboard” 200

Fueled By Ramen Nate Ruess' Grand Romantic has debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. The fun. frontman's first solo album comes in at number seven on the chart with 31,000 equivalent album units sold, 28,000 of which were pure album sales.

Grand Romantic bests the peak position of Strange Desire, the debut album from Bleachers, Ruess' fun. band mate Jack Antonoff's new project. Strange Desire debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200, though it did also spawn a number-one single at Alternative radio in "I Wanna Get Better."

Fun.'s last album, 2012's Some Nights, debuted at number three on the Billboard 200.

Ruess will be playing festivals throughout the summer in support of Grand Romantic. He'll launch his own U.S. headlining tour in the fall.
