Last week, fun. frontman Nate Ruess released a 30-second teaser of his debut solo track, "Nothing Without Love." Now, we have the new song in its entirety, and a full-length video to boot. "Nothing Without Love" starts off as a piano-driven ballad before the song explodes into a giant chorus. You can see the "Nothing Without Love" video now on YouTube.
Though Ruess is without his band mates on "Nothing Without Love," he recruited a few high profile collaborators to help bring it to life. Swedish singer Lykke Li provides backing vocals on the track, while Red Hot Chili Peppers' Josh Klinghoffer provides the guitar.
"This is probably my favorite song I've ever written," says Ruess of "Nothing Without Love." "The one I've listened to the most on repeat. And I can't pinpoint what it is about it that makes its so special to me. Which makes me love it even more."
Ruess will release his debut solo album, featuring "Nothing Without Love" this summer.
