Credit: Paolo PellegrinA short film created to accompany the new U2 tune "Song for Someone," from the band's Songs of Innocence album, will get its exclusive premiere on Thursday, July 9, on the SundanceTV network.  The video will be shown immediately after the hour-long season-three premiere of the series Rectify, which will air at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.

The flick was directed by Vincent Haycock, and stars Woody Harrelson as a man who is being released from prison after being incarcerated for many years.  Harrelson's daughter Zoe also appears in the film, which ties in thematically with Rectify -- a show that follows main character Daniel Holden and his family after Holden is freed from prison after 19 years on death row.  Haycock's previous credit's include the 2014 video for Paul McCartney's song "Early Days."

U2's iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour continues this Friday with the first of four shows the band has scheduled at Boston's TD Garden.
