Nickelback may have just canceled their North American tour, but they haven't forgotten about you. The band has released the video for "Get 'Em Up," which you can watch now on YouTube.
Staying true to the lyrics of the song, the "Get 'Em Up" video depicts a bank robbery gone wrong. The clip ends with one of the robbers getting arrested while the other one escapes by car as the words "To be continued..." flash on screen. The story does indeed continue in the much more somber video for "Satellite," Nickelback's latest pop single.
Both "Get 'Em Up" and "Satellite" are featured on Nickelback's latest album, No Fixed Address. Nickelback's summer tour in support was scheduled to begin earlier this week, but the trek was canceled after frontman Chad Kroeger was diagnosed with a cyst on his vocal cords.
"I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans," said Kroeger in announcing the cancellations. "I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible."
Nickelback hopes to resume touring for their European trek, which is scheduled to begin September 30 in Helsinki, Finland. The band is expected to return to North America next year.
