Nickelback Signs New Record Deal, Teases New Album Announcement

ABC/Tim OgierNickelback has signed a new record deal with BMG, which will release the band's ninth studio album.

"We are honored to partner with the global BMG team and look forward to releasing new music for our fans," says Nickelback in a statement. "Sharing our vision and passion with such a dedicated team while being surrounded by some of the greatest music artists of all time is very humbling and we couldn't be more excited."

Nickelback is expected to make a major announcement about the details of the new album on February 1. Ahead of official reveal, the band has shared an album cover-shaped photo on Twitter featuring the words "Feed the Machine," which could possibly refer to the album or single title.

The new album will be Nickelback's follow-up to their 2014 effort, No Fixed Address.
