Nine Inch Nails’ “Not the Actual Events” Debuts on “Billboard” 200 with Just One Day of Sales

The Null CorporationNine Inch Nails' new EP Not the Actual Events has debuted on the Billboard 200 after just one day of digital sales.

The five-track effort went on sale via NIN's website on December 22 -- one day before it was officially released -- and sold 22,000 copies, which was good enough to land at number 31 on the chart.

Now that the EP has a full week of sales under its belt, Not the Actual Events should make a big jump on next week's edition of the Billboard 200, the magazine reports.

Not the Actual Events is Trent Reznor's first new NIN release since 2013's Hesitation Marks. It features contributions from Dave Grohl and Dave Navarro.
