Panic! at the Disco earns new platinum certifications for “High Hopes” and “I Write Sins Not Tragedies”

ABC/Fred LeePanic! at the Disco is rolling in platinum. Brendon Urie and company have earned new platinum certifications for "High Hopes" and "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, or RIAA, "High Hopes" is now certified platinum for one million units sold, while 2005's "I Write Sins" is now certified a total of five-times platinum.

"High Hopes," a single from the latest Panic! album Pray for the Wicked, has already become the band's biggest hit since "I Write Sins." It currently sits at number five on the Billboard Hot 100, 12 years after "I Write Sins" peaked at number seven on the chart.

Panic! at the Disco will launch a U.S. tour behind Pray for the Wicked January 10 in Buffalo, New York.
