The video features frontman Michael Angelakos making his way through a crowded club while belting lyrics like "1985 was a good year." Glow sticks are prominently involved. "Lifted Up (1985)" is the lead single from Passion Pit's forthcoming album, Kindred, which will be released April 21.
Meanwhile, Passion Pit will perform at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival on March 27. The band will embark on a full-scale headlining tour in support of Kindred beginning April 26 in Norfolk, Virginia.
