Pavement is digging into their archives for The Secret History Vol. 1, the first of five compilations of the band's rarities. The Secret History Vol. 1, which will be released on August 11, features 30 tracks, 25 of which have never before been available on vinyl.
The Secret History Vol. 1 will focus on Pavement's Slanted and Enchanted era in the early '90's. The collection includes b-sides, unreleased session tracks, John Peel sessions and a 1992 live concert.
Pavement released five albums before breaking up after the release of their final record, 1999's Terror Twilight. The band reunited for a tour in 2010 but they have not played live together since.
