Perry Farrell to release new solo album “Kind Heaven” in 2019

Credit: Gabe L'HeureuxJane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell will release a new solo album titled Kind Heaven in 2019.

The album, Farrell's first solo effort since 2001, will feature guest spots from Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters, Motley Crue's Tommy Lee, Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, Porno for Pyros guitarist Peter DiStefano, The Cars guitarist Elliot Easton and one-time Pearl Jam and Soundgarden drummer Matt Chamberlain, among others.

If the name "Kind Heaven" sounds familiar to you, that's because that's also the title of Farrell's upcoming "immersive entertainment destination," which is set to debut in Las Vegas next year. Kind Heaven the album is meant to be a "musical scene-setter" for the Vegas experience.

Farrell will be playing music from Kind Heaven during a special show in San Francisco on December 2.
