PHASES Announce Debut Album, “For Life”

Credit: Vincent Perini If you're in love with PHASES' song "I'm in Love with My Life," you may also be in love with the band's forthcoming debut record, For Life. The 12-track album will be released September 18.

"I'm in Love with My Life," the lead single from For Life, is climbing the charts at Alternative Rock radio and currently sits inside the top 35. The track has also been featured in a variety of commercials, including an ad for The Honest Company, which features actress Jessica Alba rocking out to the tune.

PHASES is fronted by former The Like singer Z Berg and also features Phantom Planet vocalist Alex Greenwald, and Jason Boesel, who played drums in Rilo Kiley. Though For Life is billed as PHASES' debut record, they did previously release an album in 2012 under the name JJAMZ. That incarnation of the band also included Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine, who has since left the group.

In support of For Life, PHASES will be touring this fall along with LIGHTS and The Mowgli's. The tour kicks off November 4 in Austin, Texas and will finish up November 21 in Boston.
