Pixies fans, here comes your band. Black Francis and co. will hit the road this spring starting May 5 in New Orleans. The tour will run through May 28 in Brooklyn, New York, followed by an appearance at Canada's Amnesia Rockfest in June. Tickets will go on sale on February 27. Visit PixiesMusic.com for pre-sale and other ticketing info.
Francis will be joined on the tour by original members Joey Santiago and David Lovering, as well as returning touring bassist Paz Lenchain. Lenchain replaced founding bassist Kim Deal, who left the Pixies in 2013.
Pixies have also been working on new material over the last few months, some of which will be debuted during the upcoming tour. The band's last album, and first without Deal, was 2014's Indie Cindy.
