4ADThe 1990 Pixies album Bossanova celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, and the influential alt-rock outfit is marking the occasion with a special vinyl reissue.
A limited edition, red-LP version of Bossanova will be released on August 7, just one week away from the record's exact 30th anniversary, August 13. The package will include a 16-page booklet that had previously only been available with the original U.K. vinyl pressing.
Bossanova is the third Pixies studio album, following 1988's Surfer Rosa and 1989's Doolittle. It spawned two of the band's biggest singles: "Velouria" and "Dig for Fire."
The most recent Pixies album is Beneath the Eyrie, which was released last September.
