Prophets of Rage’s sophomore album is “pretty powerful,” says B-Real

ABC/Randy HolmesProphets of Rage vocalist B-Real has shared an update on rap-rock supergroup's next album. Speaking with Kerrang!, the hip-hop icon says the band's sophomore effort is "really f***ing cool."

"I can't wait for people to hear it," B-Real says, adding that he expects the album to make its debut in 2019.

"We're still dialing in a few things, but what we do have is pretty powerful," he explains.

The new album will follow the self-titled debut Prophets record, which arrived in 2017. Over the summer, the band released a new track called "Heart Afire."

While we wait for the next Prophets album, the band members are also busy with their other projects. Guitarist Tom Morello will release his new solo album The Atlas Underground October 12, while B-Real and Cypress Hill will embark on a tour with Hollywood Undead in February.
