Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested at Denver International Airport after allegedly climbing on to a baggage carrousel and riding it into a restricted area. The band was scheduled to play a show in Denver last Friday.
"So if you haven't heard yet Wes the lead signer from Puddle Of Mudd decided to take a joy ride on the carousel at the airport this morning thru restricted access and got arrested," PoM's promotor, Rock Panther Presents, wrote on their Facebook. "We have been on this all day and he is just about to be release from Jail and will head straight to the venue. The show will go on but that is why we are running late. #f**kingrockstars"
In another post, Rock Panther revealed that Scantlin had been bailed out by a fan. The band eventually took the stage at the venue after midnight.
For Scantlin's part, he doesn't seem too shaken up about the incident. Wednesday, he posted a Facebook photo of himself, Photoshopped to make it appear as if he's sitting on a baggage carousel, with the caption "I'm sorry?" and a grinning emoticon.
This isn't the first time Scantlin has gotten in trouble with the law. He's been previously arrested on charges of domestic violence, vandalism, and on various drug charges.
