Image Courtesy of RhinoThe R.E.M. documentary R.E.M. by MTV, which explores the relationship between the legendary band and the music network, will be released on Blu-ray and as a standalone DVD on June 2. The film previously had only been available as a part of a six-disc DVD collection called I Want My REMTV.
In addition to the film, the R.E.M. by MTV Blu-ray and DVD will feature five rarely seen live performances.
R.E.M. by MTV will also be screened in select theaters on Tuesday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m. You can review a list of theaters screening the film, and buy tickets, at FathomEvents.com.
