R.E.M. Releasing 1980’s Singles Collection, “7IN — 83-88”

Image Courtesy of Anton CorbjinFrom 1983 to 1988, R.E.M. recorded eleven singles with I.R.S. Records. Now, the band is releasing all of them in a new boxed collection of vinyl seven-inch singles entitled 7IN -- 83-88. The collection will be released December 9.

In addition to hit singles like "Radio Free Europe," "Driver 8" and "Its the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)," 7IN -- 83-88 also includes two U.K. releases making their U.S. vinyl seven-inch debuts: "Finest Worksong"/"Time After Time" (live), and the double-pack single for "Wendell Gee" with "Crazy," "Ages of You," and "Burning Down."
