Credit: Sebastian EdgeReports surfaced Thursday that Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood told a Russian radio station the band had finished their new album, and they will tour in 2016. However, Greenwood has clarified the album isn't actually done, and Radiohead doesn't have definitive touring plans for next year.
"Nice mistranslation going on," writes Greenwood on Twitter. "What I actually said: lots has been recorded, and we're about to go through it all to see if it's any good. And we HOPE to tour next year: no plans confirmed yet. Sorry for the over enthusiastic translator."
Frontman Thom Yorke was even more definitive, adding, "No IT ain't finished."
Whenever the new Radiohead album does get finished, it will be the band's first album since 2011's Grammy-nominated The King of Limbs.
