The British rock band's third album is one of twenty-five recordings from all genres that are being added this year, selected by the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant."

Radiohead first made waves with their 1992 single "Creep," from their debut album Pablo Honey, but it was OK Computer that propelled the band to major international success.

"On their third album, Radiohead create an information-age dystopia characterized by psychopaths, corrupt politicians, ill-behaved consumers, tyrannical robots, airline disasters, car crashes and failed safety protocols," the Library of Congress writes of OK Computer. "The album has endured as a statement and a cautionary tale for the digital age."

This is the 15th year the Recording Registry has been in existence.
