In 2009, an English DJ launched a campaign to make Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" the number-one song on the U.K. singles chart on Christmas in order to keep the most recent U.K. X-Factor winner from taking the top spot, which had been the tradition in recent years. The campaign actually worked, and to celebrate their new number-one hit, Rage Against the Machine staged a free concert at London’s Finsbury Park in June 2010. Now, that show will be released as a live Blu-ray/DVD called Live at Finsbury Park October 16.
Live at Finsbury Park is 12 songs long, and the set list of course ends with "Killing in the Name." The show also included performances of "Bulls on Parade," "Testify," and "Bombtrack," plus a cover of The Clash's "White Riot."
Along with the concert, Live at Finsbury Park will include a bonus behind-the-scenes feature and interview with the DJ who started the "Killing in the Name" campaign.
Here's the track list for Live at Finsbury Park:
"Testify"
"Bombtrack"
"People of the Sun"
"Know Your Enemy"
"Bulls on Parade"
"Township Rebellion"
"Bullet in the Head"
"White Riot"
