Credit: Jamie FryLong-feuding Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have reportedly patched things up and are possibly looking to reunite, according to the Daily Mirror. The U.K. tabloid says a "well-placed" source at Noel's recent benefit concert in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust at London’s Royal Albert Hall told them that the brothers Gallagher have reached a "gentlemen's agreement."
"It's early days in terms of the details, but Noel and Liam are back on good terms and ready to give things another go," the source tells Daily Mirror. "Nothing is signed but it’s what you might call a gentlemen's agreement between them."
Noel is currently touring with his solo band, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, in support of their latest album, Chasing Yesterday. Liam's post-Oasis project, Beady Eye, hasn't fared nearly as well as his brother's -- the group broke up in 2014 after two albums.
"Obviously [an Oasis reunion] would be massively lucrative for them both too, and the demand for tickets would be enormous," the source tells Daily Mirror.
Noel recently told Q Magazine that Oasis would only reunite "for the money."
"I don't think Michael Eavis has got enough money," Noel said, referring to the organizer of U.K. mega-festival Glastonbury. "But would we get back together one day? As long as everybody is still alive and still has their hair, it's always a possibility. But only for the money."
